Cage Cricket Shortlisted for #BeAGameChanger Awards

Cage Cricket has been shortlisted for a major national award: The Women’s Sport Trust #BeAGameChanger Awards, which recognises individuals and organisations doing the most to progress women’s sport. In particular, the award acknowledges the work by Sheromie Brewster in London and Barbados.

We have seen amazing programmes all over the UK with women and young girls playing Cage, changing their lives as well as situations within their own communities, and this news should help take Cage onto the next generation of women.

This nomination is huge recognition of the fantastic work that has been achieved by Sheromie in both London and Barbados with young women in sport. Cage Cricket’s other programmes providing for women in sport include Scotland (Ronnie), New Forest (Jacque and Maggie), The Hub @ Eastleigh (Maria) and Cardiff (Sion and Ali) with many others registering their interest too.

Thank you to all of you for placing Cage Cricket and women’s sport where it is today.

Please take a moment to vote for Cage Cricket. You can also read more about Cage Cricket and the other finalists here.

On behalf of all of the team at Cage Cricket, thanks for your continued support, encouragement, participation and opportunity.
